Luànshì Běiyáng was a Chinese warlord alliance formed in the early 1920s during the Warlord Era of Chinese history. It was led by Zhang Zuolin, the warlord of Manchuria, and was composed of warlords from the provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, and Shandong. The alliance was formed in response to the increasing power of the Zhili clique, which was led by Wu Peifu and controlled much of northern China. The alliance was initially successful in pushing back the Zhili forces, but it eventually collapsed due to internal divisions and the death of Zhang Zuolin in 1928.
